OMAHA FASHION WEEK 2024: BEHIND THE SCENES

     Massive events such as Omaha Fashion Week require an army of dedicated volunteers and staff members to run without hindrance. Below is a selection of some behind the scenes images that reflect all of the activity occurring off the runway during OFW.

                 Omaha Fashion Week has come out of its winter hibernation and blossomed on the town with the 2025 Outre season. Designers from across the country have converged upon the city to display new apparel expressing their artistic vision, and placing the creativity of the Midwest and beyond on display for all.        Welcome to VERUS Season. Taking inspiration from the Latin word, our designers for this Fall/Winter Season offered the most genuine, authentic insight they could provide into the world of fashion design. Through their creations, we can see the characteristics valued in each showcase, and understand the personality of each designer without them uttering a word, or revealing themselves to us at the end of their collection's walk down the runway. Each night was filled with vastly different formats of fashion, from avant-garde statements on the sacrificial nature of fast fashion and the impermanence of earthly materials, to an expression of the uniqueness each person possesses due to their specific upbringing and the cultures they are raised around. Omaha Fashion Week 2024: Design Powerhouses Ramp-up the Runway

      Luxury. Glamour. Innovation. Audacity. Omaha Fashion Week 2024 was willing to share these attributes with us to the maximum during the Audacious Season. Designers from a litany of distinct and fascinating backgrounds converged at the Omaha Design Center for four nights of  expressive and evocative designs that will stay in our memory well past this event. This year consisted of four nights with the following themes: Student Night designers, Bold designers, Brazen designers and Brilliant designers. Each collection reflected the arduous labor and passion imbued within by its creator.
